Foreign investments as one of sources of filling of the budget of the pension fund of Ukraine and ways of prevention of offenses in this sphere

Abstract

As practice shows, international economic integration is one of the main features of today's world economy, including Ukraine, including foreign investment activities. As Geoffrey D. Sachs rightly stated in this regard, the economic success of any country in the world is based on foreign trade and foreign investment. No country has yet succeeded in creating a healthy economy in isolation from the world economic system. That is why almost all countries in the world are joining regional and global associations, trying to solve existing problems and improve their economic performance, and recently the slogan of social integration of people on the Earth for the purpose of improving life, including opportunities for activation of foreign investment, has become widespread. to a specific country.

On this basis, Ukraine also faces the challenge of entering the international economic space by creating, among other things, a viable investment environment, overcoming backwardness, as well as low international competitiveness, including in the context of solving the problems of filling the Pension Fund of Ukraine, as well as, as correctly concluded by AG Belorus, degradation. At the same time, it should be noted that today the world economy, which includes activities on foreign investment and social security of the population, is characterized by two opposite tendencies, namely: one of them is growing globalization, the integrity of the world economy, and the other - associated with the isolation, formation of economic centers of the world economy, economic support and mutual influence of individual countries and regions with regionalization.

In such conditions, Ukraine started active actions in 2004 aimed at its entry into the international economic space, adopting, in particular, the Law of Ukraine "On the National Program of Adaptation of the Legislation of Ukraine to the Legislation of the European Union", and in 2018 recognized as one of the priority national interests of our state sustainable development of the national economy, fixing it in paragraph 2 of Part 3 of Art. 3 of the Law of Ukraine "On National Security of Ukraine", which is important for the implementation of social policy objectives in Ukraine. At the same time, as shown by the results of this study, the current state of foreign investment in Ukraine is at a rather low level.

 These circumstances led to the choice of the topic of this scientific article and defined its main task - to develop scientifically sound measures aimed at solving existing problems on these issues, including prevention of corruption risks in the sphere of pension and social security of the Ukrainian population.
