About the Journal
On initiative of the scholars of the public organization “Penitentiary association of Ukraine” and the private agency “Scientific-research institute on public law” the edition of the journal “Messenger of the Penitentiary association of Ukraine” has been started. The initiative reflects the desire of the Ukrainian and foreign scholars to make the scientific review of the history and modern development of the law science and practice, as well as to examine the legal and scientific concepts. Such conclusions of the journal’s founders and its editorial board are grounded on the fact that nowadays the human civilization, especially the well-developed countries, is characterized by the transfer from the liberal values of the open market and competition to establishing the social relations on the principles of collectivism, social justice, solidarity and mutual assistance, which are the cornerstones of the juridical relations.
The editorial board puts the task for the journal to highlight the results and conclusions of the scientific researches of scholars in the sphere of jurisprudence, resocializational and penitentiary activities. We hope that this edition would play an integration role in uniting all branches of the Ukrainian and foreign science. We hope that the journal will contribute not only to the public awareness in the law science sphere, but would become the moving force for enriching different branches of science with the new ideas and for the national legislation development.
We are sincerely glad to invite the scientists, representatives of the judicial, law enforcement and other state bodies, local self-governance bodies, law practitioners, pedagogue, psychologists, civil society representatives and students to publish their scientific works in this journal.
