Personal data protection and processing policy

  1. General Provisions

The Editorial Office of the scholarly journal “Bulletin of the Penitentiary Association of Ukraine” ensures the processing and protection of personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and generally recognized international standards.

Personal data of authors and other individuals are used exclusively for the purposes of the editorial and publishing process.

The editorial board expresses its deep respect for the right to privacy and strives to ensure maximum transparency regarding how personal information is collected, used, and protected.

  • user accounts are stored for the duration of their activity;

  • metadata of published articles are stored indefinitely as part of the scientific archive.

  • request deletion of their account;
  • restrict the processing of their data;
  • withdraw consent to data processing and request account deletion (subject to scientific archiving requirements).
